A few years back I had worked with Don in the security field. All these years later we would always get together for coffee with “the guys” It was usually a late night as most of us had been working nights together for years. Don was always reliable, always a smiling face, and always someone we all could count on. He will be missed by many old co-workers and more recently as a great friend. My condolences to the Houser family, and many friends with this loss of such a great guy. Coffee nights will never be the same.. Rest In Peace brother..

I remember the time when Donnie was 8 - 10 years old and had a cast on his leg. We were at the cottage and he started at the top of the driveway and began hopping down the drive towards the lake. Aunt Muriel, gramma standing on the porch yelling at him to stop. No way was he stopping, right into the lake he went. My dad uncle Elliot, sitting on our porch beside the driveway laughing and laughing. We always recalled the story of Don with his leg in a cast running into the lake. Don’t remember if he had to have another cast put on or not. Aunt Penny.
