Karen was an instructor of mine at Niagara College in the early eighties. I recall she was a great teacher and very passionate with her lessons in the classes. May she RIP.

Karen was visiting my sister and I in Colorado over the Christmas holidays in 1975-76 when we got news that our father had suddenly died back in Ontario. Thank God Karen was with us. My sister and I were both in shock, we were only in our early twenties, but Karen was such a rock. We had to drive back to Ontario from Colorado in my old VW van through the early January snows. Karen kept us focused, but when we got to Des Moines we began to worry we were so exhausted and just wanted to be with our family, so Karen took us to the airport in that city, put us on a plane and then she drove all alone the rest of the way back to Niagara. This is who she was. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her premature passing. I mourn her loss.
