Matthew Angus MacKinnon
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on November 14, 2018 at the age of 74 after a brief battle with cancer. Matt was retired from General Motors, St Catharines and was predeceased by his loving wife Thelma (2008) and parents Wesley and Anita. Dear brother of Wes MacKinnon (Debbi) of Ridgeville, Bonnie Jones (Wayne) of the U.K, Lynne Stringer (Late Fred) of the U.K, and David MacKinnon (Denise) of the U.K. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved four-legged companion Cooper. Matt's family would like to thank his friends Michael and Nancy, Nurses Sue, Kim, and Stephanie. As well as the many caregivers for their compassionate care and assistance. As Per Matt's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. If so desired, donations can be made to a charity of choice in Matt's memory.
