Ryder, Ronald Kenneth Feb. 1, 1949 - Oct 25, 2020
Passed away peacefully on the evening of Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Jeanne Ryder. Beloved brother of Marilyn (Dave) Watson, Keith (Adrianne) Ryder and Kent (Rhonda) Ryder. Lovingly missed by his nephew Chris (Tara) Watson and nieces Tracey (C. Ballard) Watson and Verity Ryder (Dave Clark).
Ron loved airplanes, air shows and making model airplanes.His 1950's Avro Arrow model was his most prized possession. He worked for many years at Cooper Canada and Bauer Canada.
He enjoyed joking with his friends and the staff at Anson Place. The family would like to extend their heart felt thanks to the staff at Anson Place for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Ron's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in the spring with interment at Erskine Cemetery in Pickering. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Sick Children's Hospital Toronto and Heart and Stroke Foundation.
