Primo and I came back to London early from Manitoulin Island we were hoping to pay our respects in person to Sammy Rocco and family. We didn't realize the funeral is today in an hour Rob our brother told us. I remember Sammy rebuilding a 36 foot in board Chris-craft boat engine for someone at Brian McPhersons and his Sister Susan's house. Sammy also did frame off restorations on sports cars he was a mechanical genius. I painted his basement in his house by Notre Dame high School and Sammy wanted to pay me ten dollars an hour. I told Sammy just give me six dollars an hour because our friendships worth more then money and he said thanks. His dad Carmen was Mechanically inclined as well and they were to excellent roll models who taught me to be more responsible when they helped me one time in my life when I needed guidance from true friends the most. They even took care of my son Primo and were very hospitable like family. Sammys good memory's will live in my heart forever and he is sadly missed.
