I noticed the Strawns’ home on a real estate listing today. I was sad to hear the news. I grew up in the house across the street (for nearly 20 years) and they were always so kind to me. They would bring me little souvenirs from their travels and invite me over as a child. When they would see me playing outside, they would always wave from their upper floor indoor porch. Such a sweet couple. I ran into Mr Strawn a couple times through the years after I moved away and he always remembered me. My sincere condolences to all of his family. My heart is heavy today.
